MISSION STATEMENT

            The purpose of the Mother’s Morning Out Program is to provide a supportive ministry to parents and young children through quality care & social interaction with other children while allowing the parent needed time for self.  During the parent’s absence, children are in a Christian atmosphere with loving, understanding caregivers who will exhibit Christian ideals and attitudes.

ENROLLMENT

mmo4            Enrollment forms must be filled out at registration for children ages six weeks to five years. Click Here for Enrollment Form. A one-time registration fee of $25.00 per child is required to enroll. Monthly fee is $90.00 per month per child and must be paid by the 10th of each month.  Families having more than one child in the program are offered a $5.00 per child discount i.e. 1 child: $90.00/2 children: $175.00; 3 children: $260.00 per month. Monthly fee must be paid regardless if child attends 1 day or a full month.



STAFF

Staff members on duty are Rhonda Potter & Lou Ann Nix. Both are Infant CPR and Youth Protection Certified.  MMO Staff can be reached during MMO hours by calling the Church Office, 655-2541 or Director of the Parish School of Religion, Terry Pruet, (205) 228-8382. 

PERSONAL PROPERTY

Each child’s belongings such as bottles, wipes, bags, food, diapers & clothing MUST be labeled with their name. A change of clothes ismmo5 required for all children not yet “potty trained” and children who have been trained within the past six months. Children should not bring toys that cannot be shared with the group.

 

HOURS

 Mother’s Morning Out is provided each Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.. Holidays follow the Trussville School Board & Jefferson County School schedule. Monthly fees remain the same regardless of holiday breaks. Children WILL NOT be accepted before 9:30 a.m. & are expected to be picked up promptly at 1:30 p.m. For every five minutes a child is left later than 1:30 p.m., an additional $5.00 fee will be charged. If the parent has not arrived by 2:00 p.m. an additional fee of $25.00 will be charged. Parents are required to Sign-In, provide a cell phone or phone number where they can be reached at all times & Sign-Out.  If someone other than the parent is picking up the child you must indicate their name at Sign-In & sign your name beside it giving permission for release.  Children will not be released to anyone not designated by parental signature.

FOOD

 Provide a snack, lunch & drink each day but please remember to send food that requires the least assistance to eat.  No glass containers!  Children must finish food or drink brought from home before entering the building in the morning.  A Microwave and Refrigerator are available on site. Cups, bottles, & containers must be clearly labeled with name.

HEALTH

A blue immunization form must be provided upon registration.  A copy of this form will be kept on file and must be provided by your pediatrician.  The original will be returned to you.  Children must be current on all immunizations before registration.  Children who are sick with contagious infections such as pink eye or other infections that do not cause a fever will not be allowed to attend MMO until a signed pediatrician release is obtained.  Children with a fever of 100 or above will not be allowed to attend MMO until they are fever free for 24 hours. If a child is unwell during the course of their stay, the parent will be called to pick him/her up. No medication will be given to a child by our staff during the day.  If the child requires medication during the hours they will be staying at MMO, if a parent cannot return to administer the medication the child should not attend that day.  Monthly fees are due regardless of absence due to health issues.
